Greetings Brethren,
That was an awesome presentation of the 16th Degree, thank you to the Brothers that took part and congratulations to our new Princes; I know they will continue to enjoy their Scottish Rite journey.
Around the time this article reaches you, we will be starting to organize the slate of Council of Princes of Jerusalem officers for next year; it is wonderful that current officers are looking forward to advancing in line.
Stay safe and healthy my Brothers.

It has been a busy year in the Lodge of Perfection. I want to say thank you to some a few Brothers who helped make this a successful year. Jim Swan, Bob Tyrell, Gary Hartman, Rick Powell, thank you for all the guidance and support that you showed me this year. Jack Dombrowski and Bruce Naumann, thank you for stepping up and helping out whenever you were asked, each of you are dedicated members of Scottish Rite Masonry.
Thank you,

Greetings Brethren,
I am happy to report that Brother Ray Harvey is feeling well and would enjoy some company. Ray is a resident in the Albany household. I have also learned that our Brother and Companion, Norm kruth is at the Health Pavillion for rehabilitation following his most recent procedure. I would recommend checking with Norm before stopping by, and see if he would like some company.
As this Masonic year is winding down, Please don’t forget the Childrens Learning Center, and when that Blue Card comes….send them a check..
If you are having any health or personal issues that we may be able to assist you with, feel free to contact me at 315-837-4962 or email me at [email protected]
See you in the Valley,

Welcome to My World
Notes from the Children’s Dyslexia Center CNY
For those of you who joined us in celebrating our tenth year you know what a great night the Gala was.
The Experience Dyslexia® stations were a big hit and many people got a “taste” of what our children may go through when trying to read and write. The Family Sponsored Basket table was also huge success and all who won (26 people) were pleased. We had a nice assortment of door prizes (over 30) that made people smile as well. The play was a bit more than might have been expected but it definitely brought a bit of spice to the evening. Dr. Danielle Bronk joined us and brought some nice words of insight and appreciation for our Center.
We appreciated the words spoken about and for George Wineberg, our Board Member who passed suddenly in the week before the Gala. He will be missed by all.
Thanks to all of the members and friends who supported the Gala financially. We consider it a huge success and a great celebration of the first ten years of the Center’s existence. We were honored to receive a Sponsor a Child donation from the Valley of Utica and one from a member of the Syracuse Valley. These and other generous donations, along with the attendance at the Gala, allowed us to bring in over $15,000.00 for the Center. As we head into more stringent times in our financial situation these donations are greatly appreciated.
“Life” still goes on at the Center with the tutoring sessions, preparing for the Spring break, holding Scholar Information sessions and hosting CEU sessions for Barnes and Noble in New Hartford where we will present the Experience Dyslexia® program for those registered. This will keep us busy as we head toward the end of the academic year.
To that end, remember that we will celebrate the children’s accomplishments at our Recognition Ceremony on June 2nd. We would love to see you there.
